![]() Tracker calls his uncle out for having fled with the grandfather to the city at first before coming back. Before he dies, the uncle reveals that it was Kava who betrayed them and told the village that Tracker was stockpiling the mingi curses against the Ku. Tracker kills the guards, Kava, and the witchman (thanks in part to the Sangoma’s enchantments).įinally, he finds his uncle. Tracker’s nose wins him that argument and he tracks his uncle’s men through the forest. The two argue briefly about which of them will go after the Ku and which will stay behind with the children. Tracker and Leopard are both convinced that it was the Ku, led by his uncle and the witchman who moved against the Sangoma. ![]() ![]() They return to find the Sangoma’s camp burned out with her and most of the children slaughtered.They recover the few remaining children (giraffe boy, ball boy, the twins, the albino, and smoke girl) and fight off some scavenging hyenas and tracker injures his left hand. Tracker and Leopard flee, taking Asanbonsam’s head with them. ![]()
